InfoPath 2007 and Forms Services - InfoPath Infofest
This month we are covering InfoPath in depth. Topics range from an overview of how you can use InfoPath to automate business processes within your company to a detailed discussion on creating data connections from InfoPath and moving InfoPath forms through the entire development lifecycle.
Russ Basiura will cover the InfoPath client including the form layout design, conditional formatting, rules and form submission.
InfoPath Data Connections
Specialists from RJB Technical Consulting will dig deep into using data connections to include data from SQL server, XML Web Services and SharePoint lists into your forms. The presentation will include the step-by-step procedures required for updating these data sources with information provided by your end users. They will also demonstrate how to use the Central Data Connection Library inside of SharePoint to manage and share data connections across multiple forms.
InfoPath Demo: Building a SharePoint site request form
This discussion will be led by RJB SharePoint Specialists. The demonstration will show how InfoPath can be used to collect site request information. The demonstration will include a discussion of how to use the web services available with SharePoint to pre-populate information about your users into your InfoPath forms.
InfoPath Demo: Embedding an InfoPath form in a SharePoint page
This discussion by RJB SharePoint Specialists will show you what is involved with embedding your InfoPath forms in one of your SharePoint pages when using Forms Services to get the look and feel of an aspx web form.
InfoPath Demo: Deploying your InfoPath forms
This discussion by RJB SharePoint Specialists will discuss the process for deploying InfoPath forms into your SharePoint environment using either the InfoPath client or a SharePoint feature.
